万般皆下品，唯有读书高= It means nothing beats the time spent studying, studying is still the most important thing to do.
十年窗下无人问，一举成名天下知= It means certain people were not known to the world, but the world knows them after a certain act of theirs.
四海升平，五谷丰登= It means the sea is peaceful, the land is in great abundance of grain.
Felt a little bored, came over to post this verses taught to me many years back when I was young.
Lately, there is this weird sense of insecurity, still unable to detect the source though. I want to feel that is worth giving my effort all this while, but I seem to not get the latter.
Till I hit this target, I don't think I can rest easy... Maybe I should not 耿耿于怀 over the past and leave it as something that cannot be written off in my books,but there's this little sprout of mine is chewing on me to get it back...It's telling me "It's yours in the first place, bringing it back inches you closer to the target and never forget the 'help' you OFFERED has almost cause a break in your life."
Let's start from the present to create a better future...有失必有得但绝不能再一失足成千古恨否则将后悔莫及。到时根定叫天不应，叫地不灵。
This whole lapse of time has seen many things happening up and down, left and right, lots of 点点滴滴. It is either forgotten or simply whizzed through due to its insignificance. Yet, something I learnt which is "drawing a line".
I am reaching a twilight era at the same time also a start in my life. By that I mean basketball and career.
I have seen people going at it, doing it the nasty way or starting trouble just to protect oneself's rights and interest. It's easy to tell that some attitude shown is not the real attitude or character, they are just doing it for whatever reasons they deemed like prevent overloading of work, being bullied or looked down upon. 所谓“老虎不发威当我是病猫”, the first party to budge loses. Term it childish or immature 'coz no one cares, just give me what I want. Thereafter,the "line" will be drawn, is only how far you are willing to draw. I heard this quote “脸是自己丢的，面子是我给的”, "best way" to be get people to hear you is give an attitude.
Is it worth doing the above? Doesn't the above cause a lot of unhappiness? Who should take a step back, if so, how much is the threshold? Nevertheless, I will protect the people who I deem closer to.
